Spring is here

Post by ted1r »

Hi guys spring is here, over this side of the pond we advance the clocks forward one hour, lots more evening daylight ,
Do you have the same thing?

Also my first of the years Auto Jumble ,looking forward to that ,am I right in believing you call it a Swap Meet?
We have a saying in my county of { Shiny Sides UP } loosely means safe riding.

So here's to a safe year either side of the pond.

Good morning, er, afternoon for you, Ted. Yeah, we switched our clocks forward the first weekend in March. Swap meet indeed. And... we also say keep the shiny side up. We have a gesture, a wave, we do to each other here, two fingers in a "V" pointing toward the road, means different things depending upon who you ask (I don't think there is an "official" meaning to it) - I think it means "keep those two wheels on the road" or something like that.

Good morning Ted. No changes, she's still in the storage yard. Storage charges are by now well above what she's worth. Poor old Gertrude. She's a goner, I guess.

Wish I were closer. But then again, I'd feel guilty.

Well, I heard from the other guy's insurance company today. They are accepting responsibility, are paying the storage fees, and sending her out to get fixed. Or so they say until they see her. We shall see. I expect her to get totalled. Or maybe not. The old girl may or may not be dead yet. I don't know.
