Procedure clarification please

I'm getting ready for re assembly of my engine but I'm unsure of this one step. #6 on page 101

6. "Outer race of driveshaft needle must be fit with a set pin correctly and must be contact with the upper crankcase half journal"
Does anyone know exactly what they are referring to here?

Sorry I'm not too familiar with the specifics of your Voyager 1300 engine. For that step about fitting the outer race of the driveshaft needle with a set pin, my best guess would be it's referring to properly aligning/securing the driveshaft where it connects to the crankcase. There's probably a notch or groove it needs to sit into precisely.
