Post by Highway Rider »

For those of you that want your 1700 to perform better this is a must.
This was submitted to me by an AVA member and he was very pleased by the results and I felt it was newsworthy and needed to be passed on !!!  :perfect10:

HELLO I WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW HOW WE MADE OUR KAWASAKI VOYAGER MUCH BETTER
ABOUT A YEAR AGO I ROAD THE VOYAGER TO CONGERS NY AND GOT IVAN.S ROCKLAND ECU TUNING THE COST WAS 379.00 THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED WHEN HE WAS DONE IT TOOK HIM ABOUT 10 MIN.
BUT NOW MY ENGINE HAS A SMOTHER SOUND IT HAS MUCH MORE POWER I SAW MY AVERAGE MILES PER GALLON GO WAY UP SINCE THE TUNE-UP I ALWAYS GET OVER 40 MILES PER GALLON
MOSTLY I GET ABOUT 43 TO 46 MILES PER GALLON AND THE BEST THING WAS I DON'T HAVE TO KEEP WATCHING THE TEMP GAUGE IN HOT WEATHER THE BIKE RUNS MUCH COOLER THAN BEFORE THE FAN ONLY COMES ON WHEN I AM STUCK IN TRAFFIC. I THOUGH I WOULD PAST ON THIS GOOD NEWS FOR VOYAGER OWNERS. IVAN'S ROCKLAND COUNTY MOTORCYCLE (THEY MOVED ) NEW ADDRESS IS 5205 OLD BUNCOMBE RD UNIT A2 GREENVILLE SOUTH CAROLINA 29609 SAME PHONE NUMBER 845-268-1212 THE COMPUTER HE TUNES IS UNDER THE SEAT AND IT READS C4B ON THE BACK YOU CAN SHIP IT TO THEM

HI The ECU tuning is well worth the money. I had it done on my 09 and on the way to
Flagstaff last year I was getting 45 miles per gallon at 75 miles an hour

Thanks for sharing the info on ECU tuning. Seems like it really woke the 1700 up and delivered some nice mileage improvements too.

I didn't get the mileage increase, but I got everything else. The performance went WAY up.
