Where's the turn signal flasher?!?
I had some cheap Chinese LED lights for my front and rear turn signals and, although they flashed a bit faster, they did work. Well, at the Hurley Rally, one of the rear LEDs burned out, so I went to WallyWorld and bought a set of 4 replacements. The front signals are also running lights (dual filament) and they worked just fine, but, as soon as I put the new (single filament) LEDs in the rear ... nothing! I really don't want to install an LED "load equalizer" because that defeats one of the purposes of installing LEDs. So, the next thing is to install an electronic flasher unit. This will flash the LEDs at a proper rate without the need for a "load equalizer". OKAY! So Where is the silly thing and, I'm hoping, can it be replaced with a "normal" electronic flasher, OR is it a proprietary Kawasaki configuration flasher?!?

I think it is under the faux cover, left side, close to the positive terminal of the battery. That is just memory, not a sure thing. I am sure someone else will chime in with a better answer if i am wrong.

You're right, however it isn't labeled. It is one those three pinned together next to the battery left side. I cannot tell which one.

Yep. I shudda been clearer. I know it's near the battery and is one of those relays, however, the dealer isn't much help. They want me to bring it into the shop so they can find it to help me. NOT GONNA HAPPEN. Not at their hourly rates! Guess I'll have to investigate some more. I'll keep posted.Mr Jensee wrote:You're right, however it isn't labeled. Re: Where's the turn signal flasher?!?
Unplug them one of the three at a time while the bike is running. Chances are your turn signals though they may no blink will go dead when you get to the right one.
