Paint and such

Post by hank43 »

The color of my trike is striking. I have heard many, many coments on the color, and wife and I like it ourselves, but..........

Like me, it's getting old

So, here is a possibility I have recently found: https://www.dipyourcar.com/

Imagine, a paint you can use, and then if you don't like it, just peel it off!
I want to try this - maybe a small amount to paint a helmet to see how it works......

Anybody heard of or tried this product?

I know it is a deviation from your post but I was having rusting problems inside my Voyager trunk after I left a carton of drinks in collapsible cooler last year. I found a Krylon peelable flat black in a spray can that I sprayed the interior and it turned out great. Now the trunk is totally sealed against the elements and the interior looks new.

The more I read about this stuff, the better I like it! Being peelable just makes it that much better.

Don and Trish just spent a buncha money on re-painted running boards for Trish's Gold Wing, and at the Hurley rally I noticed they were once again stone chipped. On fiberglass bodied bikes like Trish's and mine, this paint just makes good sense.

How about it Don, wanna try it out? You spend the money first, if it's good stuff, then I will follow suit. :-D :-D :-D
