I lost a friend three weeks ago.

I just wanted to make mention that I lost a good friend to cancer three weeks ago. His name was Hank Arnaud and he had been battling lung cancer for the last 3 years. He loved to ride his Harley. He was a good father and wonderful loving grandfather. Rest in Peace my friend.

My prayers go out to his family and friends. I can relate to loosing someone close from Cancer. My first wife who was only 37 passed away 7 years ago from a very aggressive cancer.

My Sympathies to you and his family. Lost my father in 2005 to lung cancer. He fought to the end but it was not kind to him.

my thoughts are with you and his family. I know to well how it feels. Seems I must be at that age where one starts losing loved ones.

dying around Ya are younger....... sigh.....

I agree. Seems like somebody I know either has cancer or a terminal illness or has passed away from one. My Father died in 2005 also, lost him and my stepfather within 2 months. Last year my wife's mom died here during the night and 2 months later my mom succumbed to a stroke and died 2 days before her 80th birthday. It has been a depressing last few years. Thank you for the sympathy. I realize every day that everyone is touched by cancer in some way.

I recently lost a friend,who I ran around with in our high school years.His farm was about a mile from our's and on weekends we would get in his ,or my car,and go cruising.We often met at his farm or our's as the years went by,and last summer he went to the hospital for minor heart surgery and died on the operating table.
