Thank You and back to you, the best part of Christmas is that once it's past we're all closer to a new riding season. Hey it gets cold in North Carolina, much colder the Northern California.

From central Pennsylvania I would like to take this opportunity to Wish Each and Everyone of you the same a Very Merry (and Safe) Christmas this year. We only have a dusting of snow at this point in time but that's all relevant to location (valleys vs. mountain tops), but fear not we too will be shoveling our fare share of the stuff and with each shovel full I will be dreaming of a white  ..... or wait, of a warm Christmas and early spring! :-D
Please be safe and take time to enjoy family and friends!

Hey Tony, do you think you could convert a Voyager XII into a snow bike?

Wishing a very newbie Merry Christmas to all my new found Voyager friends. I'm looking forward to putting plenty of fun miles on V'ger in 2017. Heading out on Friday for a PGR mission and hoping for dry roads. With temps expected at freezing and below, any bit of moisture left over from Thursday will prohibit leaving the garage on two wheels. If conditions are favorable, then I will be plugged in with the grips turned on high. :cold:

Dunno'...He told me that if he put on a Jerry Colonna moustache nobody would recognize him. Ride went okay until clutch went out stranding me in a McDonalds parking lot. Fortunately, home wasn't too far away so I was able to get a ride home for tools and brake fluid. Bled the line and everything is good to go again. :woohoo: Another mission tomorrow, V'ger is prepared for this one.

...Glad ya got the bike back up, no one likes to do it in a parking lot tho :-( The clutch was working normally when you left the house ? then somehow failed ,due to air in the system ? :hmm: or did you develope a leak somewhere in the system until it ran low or empty on brake fluid ?
We could not even consider going out on the bikes around here...... :-( the weather is really bad, I started taking my XII apart yesterday for winter service, it really dosen't need anything done this year......running great.......but I will change out all the fluids, and do inspections just to stay bizy after work and on weekends, doing snow removal has gotten old already ! :-D

Bill, lol...yeah, first time for that issue was in Taos. I'm going to keep an eye on this. If it's a leak, then it's pretty minor. But then it doesn't take much to create a loss in pressure.

Oh Man, I mis-read that last comment from Lucas, I thought he said OVERHEATING at this time of year - I actually checked to see what part of the world he was from!
Anyway, too much pie, and good food from grand daughter, and a great time with great-grand daughter #3, gotta go to bed now, so here's hank signing off, and wishing everyone on this forum a safe, happy, Christmas and a prosperous new year!
