Yes Tony I would certainly see a fair amount of big city traffic to get there as I would probably use I-95 down to New York and then work my way west.
I would have to ride north to head south from where I reside. We are way out here in the Atlantic!

Yes Dave ....that's what I meant by " tricky" ......having to head north, then to head south/east would be a bit of a set back ! that's a long way to travel ....only to turn around and head back on Friday morning ! ....or.....heck , you might as well stay out on the road, and go to "The Tail" with us after the rally ends ! get your picture taken in front of the "Dragon"

It would be a nice trip to take my time and go but unfortunately it won't be this year, too many irons in the fire.
The Dragon's Tail looks like a good road to meander along as opposed to trying to set a land speed record. One wouldn't want to become a part of the Tree of Shame!
