PASSENGER CUP MOUNT
I finally figured out a way to mount a cup holder mount on my 1700. On the bottom of the trunk, on both sides is two screws that thread upward into the trunk. I had some square one inch tubing laying around in my garage. I measured where the screws would screw through the square tubing and drilled the two holes and then painted the tubing black. I went to my local hardware store for longer screws to bolt tubing to trunk. I have been using rammount cup holders for years. The Ram mount u-bolts work perfectly to attach the cup holder to the square tubing. Looks and works great for my wife. ohiojack

Re: PASSENGER CUP MOUNT
Wife and I have been looking ever since we got the 1700 for a decent rear cup mount, (less than $100) Some pictures would be really really nice, or are you going to be at the rally?

Yes, I know, necro threading. But if you are still around, I too, would love to see pictures of this modding for the cup holder.
Thanks,

Re: PASSENGER CUP MOUNT
I have had this drink2go holder mounted for my daughter all summer.
https://www.drink2go.com/ $16/
Not sure how to actually post a picture on here.
Hopefully this link to my google account will work.

We all use these spill proof Contigo mug.
I do need to remove the mug from the holder to fully open the side bag, but that's fine because the cooler and snacks are always in that bag anyway.

Re: PASSENGER CUP MOUNT
I mounted a Kruzer Kaddy drink holder on my handle bars and mounted the same one on the right rear crash bar just froward of the right saddle bag, fits , looks and works great ,,simple and easy install.
