Oh shoot. I didn’t think this actually posted. I wasn’t finished adding a description. Easy to Google Cheateu Montebello. Here are 2 from inside the lobby. Their website pictures are so much better than mine. Safe to say the hotel is breathtaking. The area has a ski resort to the north that was beautiful in September and it also sits right on the Ottawa river. Fine restaurant in the hotel and although Quebec is French speaking we were greeted in English 98 pct of the time. Clearly we looked like we were not locals I suppose. When going to Canada you need a passport and I suggest having an insurance card that states your covered in Canada. Also bring some Canadian cash and make sure your credit cards don’t charge extra fees. A little planning goes a long way.
