When you call for reservations tell them you are with the Mid-Atlantic Indiana voyagers for the room rate of $55.00 + tax
Show up day is Sept. 16 2021 we will have 2 rides one on Friday sept 17th and one on sept 18th.

Thursday, Sept 16 - - - Safe Ride in



Friday, Sept 17 - - - - - Ride north on West VA Hwy 2 along the Ohio River to Moundsville, West VA for a tour of the Indian Burial Mound & History Museum (free admission) which will take approx. 1 hour; then cross the street for a 90 minute guided tour of the historic & mysterious West VA Penitentiary which was constructed in 1895 by the inmates and retired in 1995. (Group admission: $9.00 per person. Please bring cash as money is to be collected prior to tour and paid at one time). After lunch we will cross the river and follow Ohio Hwy 7 along the river back to Marietta. (Total ride for Friday, approx 120 miles)



Saturday, Sept 18 - - - - Approx 1-1 ½ hour tour of the Ohio River Museum at Marietta. (Group admission: $6.00 per person. Free to military and veterans with ID, again, bring cash so we can pay for group at 1 time) Following museum tour, we will take a very scenic loop ride along some interesting southeast OH roads passing thru some interesting little towns and villages along the way. (Total ride for Saturday, approx 130 miles)



Sunday, Sept 19 - - - - - - Ride out for a safe trip home

Has anyone made their reservations yet?
I was just testing the pricing online (with online reservations at this hotel) and it appears that there is a 40% cost of taxes/fees not including service fees of 14.99.
Just wondering what the financial expectations are for staying Thurs-Sunday!

Alright folks, I called and made our reservations and out total was $187 and chsnge. I asked explicitly what the total was because of what the website showed. Apparently there's an issue with the online reservation system.
Also the girl I spoke to said this was the 1st time she had any reservations for the Mid Atlantic Indiana Voyagers but looked it up and verified the rate I mentioned.
All is good and I'm counting down the days!

Well just about ready to head out. Marie and I are both on the bike for this ride, leaving early and spend a night or so out on the road. I felt so bad about the dirty 1200 that I spent Sun , and Mon cleaning and waxing the old girl. Clean bike , happy wife, nice weather forecast , its a good life. See ya's all soon. Gene K.

My 96 is filthy but it looks like I’ll hit rain so not cleaning it until I get there. I would hit rain for sure if I cleaned it so holding off. Will take two days to get there but have to make it home in one day on Sunday so that will be a tough ride. Longest in many years and suppose to be hot.
