Hello everyone. Been a while since logging in. Hope everyone wintered OK and is in good health.
I'm trying to get my winter service done and only have a coolant flush left to do. I did a quick search but didn't find any specific information on which brands or types of coolants your guys are using. I know to only use distilled water but is there a specific type or brand of coolant that is preferred?

Re: coolant flush
I had good luck with Prestone. If you search on that, I'm sure you'll find several threads about it and other brands.

Re: coolant flush
All modern coolants are safe for aluminum engines. I recommend a pre-mixed brand of your choice. Save time for very little money. Cheers!

Re: coolant flush
I used "Engine Ice" in my 750 Vulcan and will do so again for my 86 Voyager here in the near future when I flush the system, twice. It's been sitting for five years so a serious flush is going to get out some goo. But "Engine Ice" is doing a fine job in the 750.
