Yeeha! The big kawabunga runs!

Post by grumpy72 »

I figured out the fuel hose routing.thanks to this forum. I was directed to the fuel pump relay thanks to this forum.i didnt need to mess with that. My throttle cable is broke.one of em.not sure.when i twist the handgrip one thing opens.the other cable is out of its house and seems loose..i was told it is broken.its impossible to see down in there. So i know thats got to be fixed. BUT DRUM ROLL PLEASE, the bike holds 7 gallons.the battery was nearly dead.I got oreillys to chrge the battery, put about 4 gallons of gas in, flipped up the lever that says fast idle which i assume is equivalelent to a choke. Twisted the handgrip 5 times, hit the start button and VAROOM! IT STARTED. IT IDLED SLOW AND RUMBLY A COUPLE MInutes then died.about 3 times i repeated and it started each time. But of course it needs some throttle. I am excited. Yay me. Yay yall. Now to fix the throttle.thanks guys.you are awesome.

Nothing, or rather nothing originally - it's an accessory plug.
