Figured I would make a headlight guard. I know the headlights are not expensive to replace IF you can find one. A friend of mine, gave me a piece of Lexan poly carb. A quick cardboard template of the head light transferred to the Lexan. Rough trimmed it out then finished it on the belt sander. Into the oven at 330 degrees for 25 min to shape it a bit. Let it cool then some 3M dual lock. Boop, guard done. Easy peasy.

Re: DIY headlight guard
Nice job! Thanks for sharing -- especially the details on how hot, and how long, to bake the Lexan, prior to shaping it. Cheers!

Re: DIY headlight guard
It should be noted that I live at 5k feet Nevada desert. Polycarbonate can and will absorb water in the air in humid climates when heated. So if you live in a sticky place let it cool completely in the oven. As always good luck and cross your fingers.
