Sold front brake rotors ?
I have been riding for over 20 years and always liked the Voyager. I was just looking over Craigslist recently, and I had no particular goal when I saw a 1988 Voyager for sale, $2,500 with 18,500 on the clock. Looks to be in good condition. One weird thing I saw was it has solid front disk brake rotors. I have never seen a solid rotor on a motorcycle. Was this a "thing" with the voyager?

Your 20 yrs isn't nearly long enough. Both of my current road bikes have solid discs.

What you are seeing is the Markland optional accessory for the rotors. It is a chrome rotor cover.

Markland rotor covers, eh? Cool (I think maybe). Nails, at first, without looking at the picture, I was thinking the same thing as you, one-piece as opposed to the newer two-piece floating rotors. However, looking at the photo, yeah, that looks indeed like a... solid disk. I'd never seen that disc cover before, only the ones that look like, well I hate to say it but it's true, Goldwing rotor covers.
