Does anyone know if a digital gear indicator can be installed on a 2003 Voyager 1200?
Thanks

Re: Gear indicator
I was looking for one myself, and what I found were ones that worked with vehicles with electronic speedometers, not mechanical. For some reason I seem to recall (and my memory is far from perfect) my '82 KZ550 had a gear indicator but no Positive Neutral Finder. Perhaps they are mutually exclusive?DougColson wrote: ↑Fri Oct 04, 2024 5:10 pm Does anyone know if a digital gear indicator can be installed on a 2003 Voyager 1200?

Re: Gear indicator
There are generic ones that work with up/down sensors and a magnet glued to the shifter arm. Better ones include a wire to tap into neutral light to indicator neutral (and to reset the indication position).
Something like this one (I wouln't choose this one as there are probably better ones at lower cost)

Re: Gear indicator
I only need to know whether I'm in 5th ... and I can tell because it refuses to go into 6th.
(No diss intended for folks who want to know more than that.)
