Switched curcuit

Post by Bisker »

OK, I'm installing an aux fusebox so I can add all my electronic gadgets. My question is where is the easiest switched curcuit? How can I identify it? is the easiest way to splice into it to use one of those plastic crimp in splicers?

Thanks from an electrical newbie.

Below the headlamp you will find a female bullet plug. Use a 12volt test lamp to locate it or your voltmeter. Is this for your relay's and voltmonitor led ? Sorry I can't recall the exact color code of that wire I think it might be white with yellow tracer. Give me a day or two; Im workin the honeydo list this weekend. I'll take a pic and email it to you. Were you trying to power your fuse block altogether to the key ,or where there some you wanted to keep power to all the time?

I will have a mix of switched and hot, I picked up a fusebox that will handle both. I get the grouond and hot leads, just need to know where I can easily splice into a switched curcuit. Thanks again for your help with the electrics. Stay tuned, next I'll be adding lights!
