Looks like Honda is dumping more new old stock
Saw an '09 DN'01 listed for sale for $8200 + $110 documentation fee. Weren't they 15 or 16K when they came out?? Still some deals on new/old VTX 1300 and 1800, and 1100 Shadow models.

Going way back here to 1975 IIRC, Kolbe Honda in Ca unloaded a stock of still crated 1973 Elsinore 250's. I friend bought one for something like $473. I always wondered where all the three wheelers went once they outlawed them.

Re: Looks like Honda is dumping more new old stock
I think Honda has done that often. Back in 86 (I think) my wife and bought a pair of 82 CM200T bikes for $800 a piece that the local dealer still had crated. They are what got me back into riding again after my brother nearly killed himself on my Yamaha 180 back in 73.

Re: Looks like Honda is dumping more new old stock
A week or so age I read an article about a recently passed on fellow who's shop was somewhat of a secret apparently. Inside they found 11 still crated 1975 Norton Commando's and one crated 89 Matchless. This would be something to me for sure, although I do dream of stumbling on a warehouse full of pre70ies 4x4 someday, Rovers, Landcruisers, and the big threes's stuff.
