I am back to randomly finding Historic Markers instead of planning the ride around them. It is nice to be surprised and to realize that there are markers in Alabama I still haven't found in the last two years.

I have ridden by the Baker, FL historic museum many times on a cross street and never noticed that it was there. Turned left this time and there it was. Changing up your route from time to time can bring rewards.

Of course the amazing two lane roads that connect the small towns is what I love to ride. There can be thousands of cars on the interstate and sometimes I am all alone on the back roads.
