2014 OHIO PROGRESSIVE INTL MOTORCYCLE SHOW

Post by Scott-(Altoona, PA) »

Just as I made plans to call for hotel reservations to attend this years motorcycle show/expo in Cleveland I was informed by the ladies in the household that there was a baby shower the same weekend. Anyone with women in their lives knows there are a few things that are "sacred" and no man should ever interfere with.
:oh:
Needles to say I won't be attending this year but I'm already making MotoCamping plans for this summer. Looking forward to meeting old & new friends!
Plus; the 2014 AVA rally is in Asheville NC and some of us already got a welcome and invite from Dave, a new friend we met and rode with at the Logan rally in 2013.

Anyone planning on attending the bike show in Cleveland end of this month?

....good eye Scott, I just spoke to Dave H. on the phone. We established that even though he only lives 50 mins. from the rally location... he is going to get a room there, and stay with the group. He and a friend are in the process of mapping out some good rides to lead us on,..... after all, this is his "neck of the woods " and us out of towners will be happy to follow ! :-D
90% OF ANY JOB ...IS GETTING STARTED !

Since when do husbands attend baby showers? ? ? Go to the bike show and let the ladies go to the shower!

Isn't Dave H. just west of Ashville more towards the tail of the dragon ? Ask him about sightseeing the waterfalls of the area. There are many many falls in the region and not a bad road to be found...Marie and I hope to be in the NC area for two weeks and heading toward Stecoah NC after the rally. I'm sure we will also hit Gatlingburg Tenn. for some shopping. Then doing some white water rafting, and what would a trip down that way be without going to see the " Wheels Through Time ": museum in Magie Valley. It is truly a wonderful area for bikes, the Great Smokey Mountains are a pleasure to ride and sight-see .
