Steering head and Swingarm grease fitting ...can it be done?

Post by NSASarge »

I had installed a grease fitting on my 2005 Nomad 1600. You can see it on Gadget's pages. I also installed one in the steering head. Has anyone tried this on the 1700 Voyager?

Probably right. When I installed a zerk fitting on my Nomad, I used a lot of grease just to fill the cavity before it came out the top and bottom. It was kinda messy too. Your way looks much neater and doesn't take a whole day to do. I'll do it before the Rally in Asheville. Just gotta get a 36mm socket.
