Progressive 412 Shocks: leaking oil, 10k miles...

Post by SgtSlag »

Anybody else ever have issues with their Progressive Shocks? I contacted the company, waiting for a reply to see if they will offer any assistance; they were installed back in 2011, so in all fairness, they are long out of warranty, and the company is not obligated to help me in any way, but I can hope.

Only one 'dampener' (shock without the springs) is leaking. I can buy a pair of new dampeners, for $210, or a new, complete pair of shocks, for around $300, but if I end up replacing them every 10k miles... Cheers!
