well folks, more work on the way. I'm looking at replacing my 1200 rotors with ebc. 140,000 kms on the original ones. I can't find which ones to order. Part #. There seems to be many different ones. Fronts for sure and maybe rear.
As always, thanks jean-pierre

Re: ebc rotors
I recently purchased a rear EBC rotor and the part number is MD-4088, I did a quick search and the fronts are MD-4087 (both fronts, left and right).

Re: ebc rotors
Just ordered 3 rotors. They are too thin to resurface. Can't complain. 140,000 kms or almost 90,000 miles. Thanks again for your input.

Re: ebc rotors
For some reason, your URL posting got truncated. Price is now $138 for the EBC MD4087 rotor. This will work: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B006B25L28JTC1 wrote:Just saw this on Amazon $55 each http://www.amazon.com/EBC-Brakes-MD4087 ... B006B25L28
That is a good option. When I got the bike with only 33k miles on it, rotor was heavily worn already. One of the previous owners was heavy handed with the back brake and barely used the front. I immediately replaced the pads. Haven't mic'd it, but at this point rotor wear is heavy enough with uneven heavy surface sculpting laterally across the surface, it appears already marginal.voyager55 wrote:Here's another option, Refinish the old rotors Only $45 http://www.truedisk.net/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Brake caliper doesn't appear to be dragging. Because of heavy use, I might rebuild the master cylinder. Clutch required it at 40k miles.
