Welcome to the forum. I would stick with the H8 bulbs. Just buy PIAA extreme white ones. Huge difference in light. Now my headlight isn't as noticeable during the day. When it goes I will replace it with a PIAA bulb.

found out that h11 bulbs don't fit the housing, although they look the same, the tabs are slightly different, and will not insert into the housing properly!! taking back for refund.found some h8 bulbs on amazon xeon filled, for $4.95 a pair brand new, plus free shipping!!! will let you know how they work when I get them.piaa bulbs are great, but expensive.i am really just looking for a bulb that isn't so yellow looking as from the factory.

I looked at the headlight while the fairing was off - it is a H4. I note the service manual doesn't tell you any of the bulb numbers.

received the h8 bulbs xeon filled bright white for 4.95 a pair from amazon ,installed a few days ago, they look great!! bright, no yellow tint to them, dont know how long they will last, but at 4.95 a pair,i can afford to replace them often! ordered another pair before they are all gone.

As long as I had the fairing off, I replaced both fog lamps with PIAA H8 and the headlight with a PIAA H4. Definitely brighter at night with the same wattage.

Hear the PIAA bulbs give great life, but are short lived. I believe RACNRAY is on his 4th set now in 4 years owning his bike? True, he rides more than alot of us, but I'm not far behind him for the time I've owned my Voyager. Seems like needs replaced every year.
