I just picked up a XII about a month ago, 1987 with 45k for only $1200.. needs a front tire.. about it.

Besides, Mrs says "no more toys for awhile"

Dealing with the seller makes me feel like your little emoticon! I offered him three deals, one being a trade for my bass boat, but he immediately came back with "NO TRADES". An hour later he asked for pics of my boat. He gave me a bogus email address to send them to, so I added them as attachments to texts, but he never responded at all. I also offered him $2100 cash, but still no response.

It looks like a really nice bike, but there are more out there. His assessment of how it runs still scares me. I figured it would be worth the 7 hour trip to go check it out, though. Just the fact that I don't see any clear-coat peel tells me it has had pretty good care over the years and kept inside all the time. He hasn't answered me about whether or not it overheats, or if the clutch slips at all.

Problem I have with pictures, you never know if its really HIS bike the picture is of. They might have just pulled one off of the internet somewhere and stuffed it in there.

Just looked at the pictures again.. it really does look nice. To bad I have been "Toy blocked for awhile" But ya know what they say... "Happy Wife, Happy Life"
