Erratic Dash Board

Post by ThumperHitch »

On my 2015, after about 20 minutes, the gear indicator flashes all the gears, the RPMs drop to zero, and the temp gauge pegs at High. This will happen periodically, but doesn't seem to bother anything else. Runs great. May do it for a few miles then function normal for awhile. A technician spent nearly 4 hours trying to isolate the problem and Kawasaki rep. Managed to duplicate it a couple of times on the stand, but not enough to isolate it. It's in the shop now for the ignition wire recall and they are trying to find the problem. Was wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue.

First I have read about this one. Could be a loose wire in a connector. Other than inspect every connector associated with the dash, there probably is not an easy fix. Good Luck.
