Ok, so it really took 6000 miles to get it to where this story starts, my Nomad had a brand new Dunlop E-3 radial on it when I bought it in late April, Last Saturday I was cleaning the bike and checked the tires, said to myself, time to buy a new tire, had a charity event to do the next day and I would be fine for that, just a short local ride, did it and came home, like I said less than 50 miles even with the lunch run we made, got home and parked the bike, glance at the tire and HOLY **** I bet it would not have gone another 5 miles. It went from, "Looks like it's time for a tire" to "I NEED A TIRE NOW!!!!!!!! just that quick. The point of this story is PLEASE KEEP A EYE ON YOUR TIRES, they wear quick once they get to a point.

Never did like the way this tire was wearing from the start. And for those of you that know me, YES I am going Darkside with the Nomad also, got the tire today and will mount it tomorrow. In the meantime, I rode Lori's 250 Rebel to work today, that was.....well....different.
