Expect a chill the next couple of days if you are headed east. Temps will be in the high 30s in the morning across the gulf coast. Also expect some brisk winds up to 29 mph along the way.

We leave Thomasville, GA tomorrow early, for Cocoa Beach, Fla. Hoping to meet some of the Sunshine State Voyagers for Dinner or maybe a lunch along the way?

No more RAIN we've ridden in rain since Houston.

Today were heading to Memphis, TN, last night here in Knoxville there were tornado alerts going off all night, but today the weather has cleared enough for it to be safe for travel.

In the last week I've visited with Carl Leo in Florida. Carl is looking very good and able to get around. It's hard to imagine that Carl had been in the Hospital. While browsing the forum I saw a new member to the forum David in NC. I pm'd David and got to meet another Voyager 1700 rider. I answered some of his questions and he gave me some great tips, so it was a fun lunch. David's wife was there with him, so there was a full house with Trisha.

We'll be in Oklahoma City on Wed hoping to meet some more members along our travel.

We're home, total distance 7,837 miles. Both motorcycles performed flawless, which all modern motorcycles perform.

Highlights from the last have of the ride

Greensboro, NC; got to meet David and Deb for a Saturday brunch at IHOP.
Memphis; got to have some of BBQ at the Bar-B-Q. this is thanks to Chris near KC
Little Rock; just west saw the aftermath of a Tornado
Oklahoma City; area wonderful but cold
Tucumcari NM; again wonderful stated at the Historic Route 66 Motel, with Circa espresso shop on site. Great rates at the motel very clean, check it out. They advertise Circa in the Voyagers Voice.
Flagstaff; again wonderful but pricey
Needles CA; hot 101 when we rode through on Sat at noon. It was 40 when we rode out of Flagstaff.
Half Moon Bay; Wonderful to be home, now getting ready for the AVA International Rally and the Ray Walls Classic: Coast to Coast.

See you all in a few weeks.
