How long has it been since the bike was run? These carbs (especially with todays alcohol-laced gasoline) gum up pretty quickly. What about the fuel filter? What about the air filter? How many miles?

I run with the bike almost every day, was 100km to my house, when the engine failed of fuel empty. I think the fuel pump broked but dont is.
3 days before, I installed the new air filter and use only gosoline with 98 octane.
I drained the carbs, but dont out gasoline, I will disassemble the carbs tonight to see if he has dirt

Is the fuel pump actually pumping fuel, Just because it's running don't mean it's pumping.
Also pull the feed line off the fuel filter and see if there is fuel coming out there, there could be something blocking the tank, also check the filter.
I would make sure you have fuel to the carb's before you pull them off and apart.

in the "AVA - Voyager XII Tech Tips" , under the heading "General", there is a section covering the contact points of the fuel pump being stuck and how to repair the stuck contact points.
Just guessing, but if you have fuel to the pump and NO fuel being delivered to the carbs, perhaps this is the problem.
Anyhow, good luck.

Sounds like there is a blockage or kink in the fuel line between the fuel filter and the carbs. I would start at the carbs and work backward to the fuel filter.

That pool was probably caused by the float valve sticking on one or more of the carbs. When the float sticks the fuel once the bowl is filled with spill out through the over flow ports into the drain hoses that exit down through the frame of the bike.

After assembly the carbs, the gasoline leak now is in the drain hose. I believe that is the fuel pump that don't pause and directly injecting.
I threw the towel :tho:  , I took the bike in my mechanic to test te fuel pump and synchronize the carbs.

I am having the same problem with some carb's on a Voyager I am putting together.
The gas is just running out the drain holes on the bottom of the carb's. :tho:
I went over them, the float needles and seats look good and set the floats.
I thought the fuel pump was the problem but I put my finger over the outlet and i can stop the pump.
I am thinking the rubber on the needles is to hard to seal. :hmm:
I have new ones ordered and e will see what happens.

it is almost always the needles. i never open a set of carbs without replacing the needles. the OEMs are quite costly but the K&L needles work great at a fraction of the cost of OEMs. i also polish the seats with semi-chrome, i try to get them shiny enough to comb my hair in the reflection. be sure to use the hangers from the original needles, the K&L hangers will cause float stickage.
