The helmet behind the bike is a universal sign Biker in Distress....
Is this a real fact?
This was a FB group page. I did not know it, and maybe a lot of others do not. Thought I would share for comments...

It makes perfect sense as a universal signal for distress .Only problem is Nobody Knows About It .Waterwalker wrote:

I would be careful, there's a lot of bad people out there.trikebldr wrote:Traditions have to start somewhere, so from now on I will stop to help if I see a helmet sitting on the ground behind the bike like this. Especially if the Harley is smoking or has a pool of oil under it! LOL!
My '03 Honda 750 Nighthawk doesn't have flashers. The few times I pulled off the road, I would leave the left turn signal flashing. May not be the best way, but better than nothing.Mr Jensee wrote:Don't most modern bikes come with emergency flashers? The Voyager and my previous ZRX both had them. Every time I have pulled over with a problem and put those flashers on other bikers stop to help. Very handy devices indeed.
