2015 voyager oxygen sensor

my 2015 Voyager has an oxygen sensor in right side muffler...I want to put Cobra slip-ons on the beast but there is no opening in the new slip on for the sensor...my queston is what harm will it do if I disconnect the sensor??? Thanks all

Since your machine has fuel injection, disconnecting the sensor will affect performance because the CPU cannot determine how to meter the fuel flow without the oxygen sensor. My advice is to find a machine shop that can bore a hole and tig weld a screw in port on the new exhausts to install the bike's O2 sensor. Try to get it near the same installation point because where you install the sensor is very important to the CPU.

just did mine i put on vance and hines slip ons and get a 12mm bung and took it to a muffler shop where they cut a hole and weilded the bung in and now i have the o2 senser hooked up on my 2015 voyager.
