What to do with old battery indicator and new sealed battery?

So I had to get a new battery awhile back, and it's a sealed type, no way to plug in the old school electrolyte monitor. What's the alternative fix for this so that the battery light isn't on all the time?

The Green/Blue wire that the electrolyte level sensor connects to needs to be connected to a switched 12V positive source.

I seem to remember seeing something about this in this site's treasure trove of tech tips section. Why not peruse through there and see if the fix stated therein works for you?

Note: if using a sealed battery, the low water sensor (connected to your lead acid battery) should be connected to the positive terminal of the battery, otherwise the "Battery" dash light will be continuously lit. Unlike a car battery idiot-light, the battery light on the Voyager does not monitor the charge level of the battery, but rather the water level.

OR

Clip the sensor off, and attach it to the orange wire on the turn signal relay, if I recall correctly. That'll keep the light turned off and not back-feed the system with the ignition, unlike if you hooked it directly to the positive side of the battery.
