Progressive Form springs from and 86 into a 93?

Post by HawkeSHR »

Progressive site says 11-1102 for 86. 11-1122 for 93... does anyone know if there is a big difference that could cause a problem with me using them in my '93 from an '86?

Thanks in advance!

I know there is a difference in the tube diameter so they probably will not fit.
An Alternative may be to swap forks Don't quote me on this without further info.

The diameter is different so I don't think you could swap forks & being they have a different pn# they probably won't be the same, A call to either Carl or Progressive should get you the proper info you need.

the difference is the internal diameter of the tubes, OD is the same but the 86s had thinner tubing which caused flex. the progressive springs for the 86 are too thick to fit the 87-03 tubes........
