Just installed the Nexen on the xii and after about 200 miles I am happy  :wnk2: . Though it travels a little bit it is not anything I can't adjust to. Thanks for all the help and info.  Next project will be shocks and springs front and rear, all will be progressive I think.

Mine don't travel or wonder at all, put another 300 or so miles on it and play with the air pressure 2 lbs at a time. I found 50lbs to be my "sweet spot" with 35lbs in the shocks set on 4, get the release compound scuffed off the new tire. I'm now at 5000k and it shows 0 wear.

I've got just over 6000 miles on my Kuhmo now. It did take 300-500 miles to settle in and get used to it. I just put an E3 on the front this weekend and wow! They work together really well.

No doubt the best ride ever on the Voyager XII with the CT. Darkside is for me. Thanks to all that have taken the venture and provide the specifics to make this happen.
PROS:
Better control,
Quieter than MT,
smoother than MT,
More responsive,
Better at slow turns,
Better price on NEXUS,

CON:
CT not as good at rear braking
CT presently has a slight wobble occasional during lane change at high speed
CT is one ply compared to MT five ply
My mechanic gave me a 30 minute lecture about how wrong it is to put on CT
Same mechanic refused to mount to rim

POSSIBLE SOLUTION:
CT requires more front brake application
CT seems to improve with time, PSI adjustment, recheck installation for proper torque
CT will require routine checks. Avoid curbs and other such hazards to side wall as much as possible
Listen to people that are care, but may not have all the facts straight
Learn how to mount to rim (self) (I already have the knowledge, but letting others know it is so easy to do yourself)

EXPECTATIONS:
More miles
More fun
No more Rear MT on the Voyager

I find the braking better with my C.T., no lockup, and that is always a faster and more controlled stop, I do us more front brake than rear and downshift through a "panic" stop, just wait until you have to grab a handful and foot full of brake in the rain with the CT, you will get off the bike and kiss that tire. You report a high speed wobble at times, what PSI are you running ? I have mine at 48 and get a good ride. I got a wobble last weekend on the way to Leesburg Bikefest at around 80mph on the G.P.S. but it was wind related in traffic, I also had two sleeping bags strapped to the top of the trunk, you will be surprised how much the wind effects that trunk, just try taking it off sometime and ride on the highway. But that is one of the reasons we ride XII's so I'll leave it on and stay under 80 in traffic. lol, I replace my front E-3 a few weeks ago, and I notice the new front tire has a lot thinner chicken strip on the sides, thats tell me that I have put the CT out of my mind and attacking the turns harder now too. lol .As for the people that say it can't and shouldn't be done and I will explode and die in a ball of flame of epic proportions, I just say "OK" and ride away.
