Music on my Nomad

I finally got the batwing fairing installed today, once again my painter knocked it out of the park with a perfect color match, his eye for colors and mixing paint is amazing, I got the fairing from Reckless Motorcycle in Knoxville TN. , went for their "blank" faring, without their radio or speakers, found a Kenwood marine radio on Flea-bay and went to Wallyworld for the speakers, got a amplified antenna from Auto Zone and it is hidden inside the fairing. Gotta say, IT SOUNDS GREAT, as much base as need, highs and mids are great too, sounds as good as a car stereo, I spray glued some automotive carpet padding inside the fairing to help with the sound and it work better than I had planned. All in all I'm very happy with it, now for a collage course on how to operate all the functions on the radio and I will be set. I really like the fact I can plug my thumb drive that has about 2000 songs on it right into the radio.

Yeah, maybe a little overkill, but it's feels good to drown out the kid's next to me BOOM BOOM BOOM trash at the red light, "Hey kid, you just got owned by a motorcycle"

That's funny Jim and I know what you mean about BOOM BOOM at the light!
I'm having "issues" with my 1/8"-1/8" plug for my iPod into my Yaesu FTM-10SR right now, but I find myself scanning 2m & 70cm's plus, City, County and State Police all the time. I know what and where...to avoid!
