Looking for Tool Box Lid hinge, 86 ZN1300

Thought I posted this yesterday but it doesn't seem to be there...

While putting the bits back on after the recent tire change the hinge on my tool box lid broke. The hinge is a piece of bendable plastic that's riveted to the tool box and it's lid. NLA but I found a NOS one on eBay but pricey. Anyone have any alternatives for the hinge material?
