Post by Johnpaul »

Are there any Voyager trikes out there?
Im a new member from England and have just bought a Voyager 6.
Due to a left leg issue i cant ride a bike anymore and i would like to build a three wheeler.
Does anyone have any info or pictures to share?
Many thanks JohnPaul.

I knew a chap in New Brunswick, Canada who had a ZN1300 trike. It was one of the kits available from a company known as Voyager trike Kits; http://www.mtcvoyager.com . The only drawback he told me was the loss of ground clearance other wise he really liked it.

that's kinda what I figured.
I find the belly plate alone costs more than a used trike kit

voyager has a pretty large overhead and they probably didn't sell many kits for the 1300.

I have a 2000 KZ1300 with a Voyager Trike kit on it.
My battery has died, because I've been ill and haven't started it in a couple of weeks.
How/where do you access the battery? I cannot figure out how to get under the seat...
Any helpful information will be greatly appreciated!

First we have to sort this out some.
The ZN 1300 Voyager was only made from 1983 to 1988 .
If it is a 2000 than it is a ZG1200 Voyager XII made from 1986 until 2003.

You are correct - the guy I bought it from gave me the wrong manual... That explains a LOT.
It is a VOYAGER XII, so I imagine ZG1200, like you said... <smh>

Any info on getting to the battery on a 2000 ZG1200? I've got both side panels off...
I can get to the oil and the antifreeze tube, but can't figure how to get to the battery
(assuming it is under the seat, which I can't figure out how to remove.).

Thanks for anything you can offer. Greatly appreciated!

Actually it is under the fake tank
Two screws towards the back and two push/twist knobs near the front bottom.
