Women Riders Poll (Poll Expired)
Ok, here is a poll for our women riders out there. If you do not have an account to post to the site of your own, your riding partner can vote for you (with you looking over his shoulder of course). This is just for the women riders only. As usual, this poll will be active for 10 days, and registered users can vote once.

Re: Women Riders Poll
Currently ride my own more than I ride as a passenger. My husband and I switch bikes a lot while riding on trips. He likes to ride mine more than some of his, so I will ride his to keep him happy. Of course I can ride a better wheelie than him.

Re: Women Riders Poll
For those of you who have met Marcia you know who is really in charge (gollie I love my boss). Having stated that, "Marcia the Navigator" may be the common sense behind whether we ride or not; Marcia will ride with me (my hands on the handlebar for what that matters) for hundreds of miles a day (over 800 miles Bowling Green KY to MelbourneFL in one day; including rain thunderbolts and lightning, etc.) but often does not want to ride the 9 miles to where she works?
Let's face it, a ride in the summer rain of Florida is a free, extened, warm shower! At less than $3.00 a gallon they are giving gas away; does it matter?
I guess I will have to ask the CFO/Navigator...this word is just in, guess we are staying dry today!
Dadburnet!!! The mini van has all the excitment of a frontal lobotamay!
Oh, thats right its October; the beginning of riding season here in the Sunshine State!!! Perhaps the CFO/Navigator might want to ride more in the middle of our upcoming riding season?

Re: Women Riders Poll
I ride my own and have for the last 25 years. I got Brian started just before we got married 13 years ago. Occasionally he rides behind me, you forgot that option in your choices too! Only problem with that is that he sometimes forgets where he is allowed to hold on. Not a good idea on the VMax. He grabs, I jump and twist the throttle and nearly throw him off the back when the front wheel leaves the ground, he holds on tighter, I twist harder, vicious circle. He is learning though, grab gently and things work out much better! Every once in a great while I will still ride behind him, but I have discovered that my nerves don't handle being a passenger very well.
