Found my rattle
Found my rattle, big thanks to all the info on this forum. Any thoughts on whether i dare heat the shaft to release the loctite (blue)? Alternator was new this spring, and i hate to burn up the seals and bearings...

Nevermind, got it out with a custom screwdriver. Looks like i forgot to locktite it, prolly why it broke.
