Good evening everyone,
I have a set of floorboards that I have recently installed on my 93 Kawasaki Voyager. I love the feel of the floorboards once I get going, I don’t mind the brake set up at all because it’s very similar to the pegs with the heel part. The issue I’m having is that I don’t like the shifter itself. I feel like it’s too high up off the floorboard, and I keep putting my toes into the fairings trying to gear down. Has anyone found an aftermarket heel toe shifter that actually works.? I was very disappointed with the one that I have, it took a bike that I truly enjoy riding and made it to one that is a pain in the butt to ride around town. Hopefully I can find something that will work otherwise I’m gonna put the pegs back on it.

I assume you also changed the lever assembly from the shift rod to the pedals.
IIRC, there's a lot of adjustment on that lever. Just need to get the toe high enough to get your boot under it. You just smash on the heel.

Re: 93 Voyager, aftermarket Heal toe shifter
thanks for the input,
Yes I have adjusted it as much as possible, I guess it is the Markland shifter setup with the FB. it appears that the shifter lever itself, has too much of a "V" it it's design, and that is what is causing the issue. If I lower the front, it makes the rear way too high to be comfortable. the old bike I took it, it off of, They had forgotten to flip the transmission shifter 180, so the shifting was reversed.

IIRC, that rod unit is different, not just the pegs one flipped.
I don't know anything about Markland or much about stock floorboards. My bike came with stock, and years ago I switched to pegs.
I remember that the height of the floorboards was different from the height of the pegs -- I think about 3/4" higher than pegs. Maybe your floorboards are somehow supposed to be higher?
Somebody else should pipe in with a comment about my memory.
