Tire pressures Voyager 1700
I know what the manual calls for 28 front and 40 rear. I have heard it is better to run much higher pressures, especially front, what are other riders keeping for pressures and why? Thank You

Re: Tire pressures Voyager 1700
I am running 34 to 36 front with a Exedra Max tire. I also changed the springs and put Racetech Gold Valve Cartridge emulators in the front forks.
At 28 PSI the tire wore prematurely and started cupping.

Thank you for the response and what kind of mileage have you gotten from the Bridgestone tires, and did you install the suspension kit yourself and if you did, what is very involved?
Again Thank You

Re: Tire pressures Voyager 1700
I pulled the forks and brought them to traxxion dynamics for a complete rebuild and polish. I was already lubing the steering head and swingarm bearings so I decided to let them do the labor. I'm not saying you need to rebuild the front end, but I didn't like the way it felt. Once you've experienced good suspension it is hard to ride around on budget suspension.wolfman46 wrote:Thank you for the response and what kind of mileage have you gotten from the Bridgestone tires, and did you install the suspension kit yourself and if you did, what is very involved?
