Made it home safely from the rally
Had a good ride home. Did get wet a couple of times but was glad to get cooled off. When we got home, one bank thermometer said 102. I hope everyone else gets home safely also. Hope you will post and let us know how the ride home was.

We just got in here in Bloomington, IN. Stopped and played a little music in Madison with Tommy Day on the way home. Had a great time. Look forward to seeing you all next year!!

Re: Made it home safely from the rally

What a wonderful time we had at the rally; and seeing everyone else having a great time as well!
We made the drive to Franklin and enjoyed some time with family. Tomorrow we hope to get some riding in, while still here in this beautiful state. We will head south on Sunday after stopping to see Dave & Dot!!
I pray for safe travels for all and am so excited to look forward to our 26th rally in beautiful Estes Park, Colorado. Especially seeing you all again!
Ride safe and enjoy the ride.

Re: Made it home safely from the rally
We made it home around 9:30 last night, didn't leave until
late in the day. Had a red sunset in my mirror and a full moon in front of me.
This was our first Rally and can say we truly enjoyed it.
It would have been much better if my friend Alex could have
met all the great folds I did. He spent the rally in Mission Hospital,
had a small heart attack, but he is doing good now. I'm on my way back to Asheville
this morning to pick Alex up and to ride his bike home, he says he is jealous, I get to
ride it twice.

Got home last night 9:30 pm central time. It was a good run home no problems. Covered the 1000 miles in 17.5 hours. Had a light rain about 10 miles from home.

Re: Made it home safely from the rally
Wife and I made it back around noon today. We took the long way home to check out a few more mountain roads down in South Carolina. Had a great time at the rally and didn't hit any rain at all on the way home yesterday or today....but unfortunately we hit "hot and humid" just before we got here!
